Within one and a half miles of Edinburgh city centre sits one of James Braid's earliest designs in the form of Ravleston Golf Club. Between Ravelston and Murrayfield, this nine hole course was designed in 1912 and has stood the test of time.

A parkland layout, Ravelston prides itself on the welcoming atmosphere and friendly environment it offers to all golfers. The golf and the views, though, are acknowledged just the same.

Set on the northeast slopes of Corstorphine Hill in the west of Edinburgh, the course has panoramic views of Fife, the Firth of Forth and Edinburgh Castle, while the golf is a unique city centre option that is thoroughly enjoyable.

The main defence here is the green side bunkers which guard tight putting surfaces. The first and ninth holes are right by the clubhouse and make the perfect start and end to a round at Ravelston.
