Situated approximately six miles southeast of the capital city of Edinburgh, Broomieknowe is a welcoming, mature parkland layout that is in superb condition.
It is an easy walking course that is the product of two of the greatest names in golf, Ben Sayers and James Braid. Sayers originally laid out the course with the world-renowned architect Braid making extensions later on. It sits on an elevated site which affords great views of the surrounding countryside. This community club boasts an excellent clubhouse, and with fast-draining sub-soil, there are very few days this course isn't open all year round.
