Colville Park is a beautiful 18-hole parkland course in Motherwell's Jerviston Estate.  The original layout of nine holes was designed by David Adams in 1923 and was later extended to the current 18-hole layout by James Braid in 1926.

The course measures 6, 284-yards from the back tees with a par of 71, while the present course record will take some beating, as Colville Park member Haig Hamilton shot 64.

It poses a good challenge for all golfers and as the final five holes offer excellent views over the Clyde Valley, it's little surprise that Colville is regularly dubbed one of the best courses in Lanarkshire.

You won't go wrong after your round either, as the clubhouse has a strong reputation for its catering.
