Moray Golf Club is home to two fantastic links courses. Although the New Course is the smaller of the two, it's still well worth playing, and is a great course in its own right.
The course is set over flat land, with the front nine working its way out to the coastline. The fourth and sixth holes are both short par-3s, where there's a great chance to stick your approach shot close to the cup.
When you reach the turn, you're greeted with a fantastic view of the beach, and a tricky, short par-4, that features a dog-leg to the right. The 16th is a great short par-4, where you can't see the green from the tee. The sensible play is an iron to the corner of the fairway, but if you're bold, you can take a drive over the bushes and leave an eagle putt.
Although this course doesn't carry the same reputation as its neighbour, it's still a brilliant links experience.
