Carrbridge Golf Club was formed in 1980 but there has been a golf course on this site long before that.

Todays setup has been moulded around the natural contours of the land and so offers few man made hazards, with burns and other water featuring somewhere on every hole.

The course rises to about 1, 000 feet to present excellent views of the Cairngorm Mountains, and for the past couple of years the greens have been recognised in the Spey Valley as some of the best.

Across nine challenging holes, Carrbridge offers a well-maintained course that is simple in layout, but so effective. It's a typical village golf course, but let that take nothing away from a classic game of golf in the Highlands.
