Traigh golf course is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the Highlands and boasts marvellous views of the islands of Eigg, Rhum and the Cuillins of Skye. The word Traigh means beach and the course borders a truly magnificent sandy beach - a photographer's dream.
The course was founded in 1900 but was greatly improved in the early part of the 90s. It was redesigned by respected golf architect Mr John Salvesen, with assistance from Mr James MacDonald, head greenkeeper at Royal Lytham & St Annes, who is a native of Arisaig, the village in which the course resides.
