Canmore is a pleasant, well-maintained 18-hole parkland course. With a par of 67 it is moderate in length, is a good test of accuracy and demands a good short game. The course provides enjoyable and challenging golf for enthusiasts at all levels of ability. Canmore was founded in 1897 and has been at its present site since 1902.

Until 1913 the course consisted of nine holes. The 18-hole course opened in 1914. The present day layout was designed in 1946 - the course having been used to help the war effort in both world wars.

On reaching Dunfermline, take the A823 Crieff Road which passes the golf course on the northern outskirts of Dunfermline.
