Drumoig Hotel & Golf Course is a privately owned resort set amongst 250 acres with its own 18-hole championship golf course. The hotel comprises of 24 bedrooms located in unique lodges adjacent to the main facilities.

The golf course at Drumoig features plenty of natural hazards, but the most memorable comes at the ninth tee. The fairway is flanked by water on either side, with a very narrow strip, around 15 yards, all the longer hitters have to aim at.

That then comes into play on the following holes, but you would need to be very wayward to find it. The final hole is a challenging one, with a wall running between the fairway and green.

If you're playing this hole for the first time, caution and precision will win over brute force.
