Abante Golf, the market leaders in organising golfing breaks to Prague and around the Czech Republic has announced the launch of the 2013 Prague Golf Trophy to mark the achievement.
The first edition of this amateur golf event, which will enable golfers to experience the best that Prague has to offer on and off the course, will be held from October 9-12 in association with the best UK golf tour operators.
From €449 per person at the 3-star hotel, players can enjoy accommodation for three nights on a bed and breakfast basis and sharing a room with two competition rounds of golf included. The event will feature 18 holes at Golf Park Plzen, home to
2013 Ladies European Tour, and Konopiste, the biggest golf resort in the Czech Republic, while it will also include a all airport and golf transfers, a welcome dinner and prize giving gala dinner at the end. Golf Park Plzen is home to Honma Pilsner Urguell Masters, a part of 2013 LET, and is located west of Prague near the famous town of Pilsen (home to Pilsner Urquell Beer) and opened in 2004. It was built by renowned German company Sommerfeld A.G. with input from golf architect Christoph Stadler. The 18 hole golf course presents a tempting challenge for golfers of all skill levels and sits amongst numerous birch and alder groves embraced by the Klabava river and the beautiful Ejpovice lake. Konopiste is the biggest golf resort in the Czech Republic, which opened the first 18 holes in 2002. The Radecky and d´Este courses have been hosting many leisure and corporate golf tournaments. In addition to this the venue offers a nine-hole public course as well as good practice facilities.
