Lumine Golf Club has demonstrated its growing status as one of Europe’s most saught-after golfing destination as it welcomed over 400 golfers across its two championship courses in a single day.
On the back of a record year in which the resort has already out-performed its forecasted rate of uptake from the main European Golf target markets as Lumine continues to build upon its success.
“Four hundred rounds in one day has always been a benchmark number we have been striving to hit and I’m delighted that we have achieved this feat so early into what will be an extremely busy period for us over the coming months,” said Calle Carlsson, general manager of Lumine Golf & Beach Club.
“Our entire team has been working tirelessly to deliver 45-holes of golf in pristine condition along with the very best in service hospitality and value in the game. It’s these aspects that see increasing numbers of golfers return to us every year.”
Lumine has been selected as a venue for the second stage of European Tour Qualifying School which is to be played over the Greg Norman designed Lakes course, with players heading there in the hope of securing their playing rights for the 2014 season.
