Big Move For Largs Centre Club Manager Wins Top Award

The National Centre in Largs is now a Scottish Golf Development Centre, which aims to serve Stage 3, the step between ClubGolf Stage 2 and Academy Performance Development programme on the player pathway.

The robust criteria for becoming a centre was fully met at the Inverclyde base, which included delivering the ClubGolf programme and the Scottish Golf Player Pathway, providing a facility with a good standard of practice facilities and course availability and a short game area of suitable size, including bunkers - plus much more.

Graham Ross, PGA Professional at Inverclyde, was the successful PGA Level 3 coach appointed and provides first class coaching to juniors at that level.

The National Centre is also set to introduce new tuition breaks on Sundays May 12, June 9 and August 4 (alternative dates can be arranged). These one-day breaks are open to all levels - limited to six players - and are designed to help you improve. Call 01475 674666 for details.
