Set in the heart of Fife, it's not difficult to understand why this outstanding inland course is regarded as one of the finest in the Home of Golf. Described by former Open champion Paul Lawrie as "one of the best heathland courses in Scotland in the UK", Ladybank is undoubted gem.
Designed by Old Tom Morris, the course measures almost 6,800 yards from the championship tees, taking full advantage of its heathland terrain. It has changed very little over the years, requiring even the most skilled golfers to display real precision in hitting the small and often contoured greens. The fairways are lined with heather and trees, meaning that accuracy is the most important weapon on this layout.
