Falkland Golf Club is a nine hole course set in the shadow of the East Lomond Hills.
This is a course that provides excellent views of the Lomonds, across Auchtermuchty and north towards Perthshire.
Set beside Falkland Palace, this is one of few courses where you can play in the backdrop of a royal palace, a truly excellent setting.
Although this is just a nine hole course, you can play it twice, which means you'll get to play the signature hole, the second, twice. This is the only par-5 on the course, and is a great chance to make a birdie.
This course is by no means a pushover, as the tight fairways and small, sloping greens make it a challenge. It's well worth a visit.
