Not to be confused with its big brother and next-door neighbour, the Elie Golf House Club, the Elie Sports Club is a fantastic, multi-purpose sports facility that sits right at the heart of the local community.
Whether you want to play tennis, bowls or simply keep fit, it's mission is "to provide a welcoming family-friendly environment to our members, guests and visitors."
Its nine-hole golf course is hugely popular all year round. The Baird Course, as it is known locally, is a wonderful little links that is open all year and offers superb views overlooking the Firth of Forth.
At a little over 2,000 yards, it's a nice, gentle walk but is rightly regarded as one of the best nine-hole courses in the country and will test most of the clubs in your bag... if not all of them. Tremendous fun.
