Home to one of the most famous par-3s in the country, Anstruther Golf Club is home to a fantastic nine holes of golf.

The club was founded in 1890 and has been an integral part of the community ever since. Stretching along the shoreline between Pittenweem and Anstruther, the views are spectacular and the golf is a treat too.

The fifth hole, named The Rockies, is the signature hole and one of the toughest par-3s you're ever likely to encounter. At 245 yards, some will be tempted to take their ball over the coastline, but the prudent play is to play the hole as a two-shotter.

Overall, this is a magnificent setting for golf. Although it might not be a championship course, you're guaranteed enjoyment at Anstruther.
