Ross Priory is a nine-hole course located at the University of Strathclyde's Recreational and Conference Centre, sat in 200 acres of parkland on the south east shoreline of Loch Lomond.

First laid out in 1977, Ross Priory was extended in 1989 as the original six holes were reduced to four and five new holes were introduced. Redevelopments have taken place since then to craft today's course which offers a nice variety across the nine holes.

When played twice from the white tees, Ross Priory measures just over 5,800 yards, so it's the ideal length for golfers of differing abilities. When playing here, you need to take in the spectacular views across Loch Lomond to Ben Lomond and surrounding countryside from the 3rd hole, a downhill par-4.

At 444 yards, the fifth hole, 'Burn', is the longest on the course and despite playing downhill, watch out for the bunkers and burn which lie hidden behind the green.
