Moffat Golf Club was established in 1884 and the present course, designed by the great Ben Sayers, was opened in 1905.

With spectacular views over the town and surrounding hills, the course presents an interesting and varied challenge to members and visitors alike with its natural undulations and many hidden greens with subtle borrows.

Expertly kept bunkers guard several of the greens, too, but that adds to the enjoyment of trying to find those immaculate putting surfaces.

The 18-hole moorland course is one of the finest in the region and the variety of holes here will make you want to come back time and again.

It is an absolute joy to play the game in such surroundings and the clubhouse, which has recently been refurbished, is the ideal place to sit back and relax after your round.
