Vale of Leven is a parkland gem located not far from Alexandria in West Dunbartonshire. The club was established way back in 1907 and was originally a nine-hole course on land leased from a local estate owner before being increased to a full 18-hole layout in the 1920s.
The Vale is situated on the east side of the valley, taking advantage of its glorious setting with views views of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond. From its highest point, the views extend as far south as Dumbarton Rock and the Clyde estuary. It is a short, peaceful course that is enhanced by its wide lush fairways and well-manicured greens.
