Pollok is a mature, wooded, parkland course founded in 1892 and set in the Pollok estate, which includes the Burrell Gallery and Pollok House.

The holes generally flat and boast some fine turf, but there are subtle undulations, which have the tendency to throw up a different shot when you least expect it. The club boasts an impressive new clubhouse but, be wary, it describes itself as a 'private club for gentlemen golfers where visitors are welcomed when introduced by a member'.
