Situated at the foot of the Ochil Hills with a commanding outlook over the Forth Valley, Muckhart offers challenging golf over 3 very different combinations of 18 holes tempered with some spectacular scenery. The club was founded 100 years ago with the construction of the original nine holes. It was upgraded to 18 holes in 1971 and a further nine holes have now been added to allow golfers of all levels a unique and memorable experience.

Each hole requires a different approach to be tamed and demands tactical awareness and a skilful touch with all the clubs in the bag. However, all this shouldn't detract from one of Muckhart's main features - the stunning vistas as viewed from the courses many vantage points.

The scorecard to the left is for the Arndean/Cowden Course. The Arndean/Naemoor course has a par of 70 for gents and 72 for ladies and the Naemoor/Cowden has a par of 71 for gents and 72 for ladies
