When former Open champion Tom Weiskopf first saw the land on the Bonnie Banks where he was getting the chance to design this golf course, the American admitted that it "just blew me away".

And there have been many others who will have shared that sentiment through either playing the course or visiting it to spectate at the European Tour event (now the Scottish Open) that has been staged there since 1996.

The condition of the course is always perfect and the setting is truly spectacular with the hills on one side and the loch bordering it on the other.
