One of the top municipal public pay-and-play courses in Glasgow, Linn Park has thrilled and delighted golfing visitors for a number of years.

It is located on the south side of the city, near Castlemilk, and it is an undulating parkland layout that, curiously, contains no fewer than six par-3s in its outward half. Don’t think that it’s a pushover, however, as there are some particularly tight approaches into a number of greens due to the strategic positioning of the bunkers. The signature hole is the tenth, a 400-yard par-4, which features a dog-leg left, out of bounds behind the green and trees lining the fairway almost its full length. And, as if all that wasn’t enough, there is also a blind tee shot to deal with!
