Leadhills is the highest golf course in Scotland at 1,500 feet above sea level, making it a unique, must-play course.

Although it is the highest course in the country, this well-presented hilly moorland layout is a relatively easy walk, making it accessible for golfers of all ages. The views over the surrounding heathland and countryside are unsurprisingly glorious. The scenery is at its best when you make the climb up to the eighth tee. Inevitably subject to brutally strong winds, this layout can be a very tough test of golf, demanding excellent course management and club selection.

This nine-hole venue plays very short as a 2,084 yard par 34, but don't be deceived as the wind can cause chaos around Leadhills.
