Founded in 1891, Kilmacolm is one of the more popular clubs on the outskirts of Glasgow. It is situated on a plateau approximately 400 feet above sea level, so when it's windy you can expect to be blown about a fair bit.
Maximum use is made of natural hills and hollows, making this one of the most attractive moorland courses in central Scotland, which is no mean feat. To score well you will need to be reasonably straight from the tee and accurate with your approaches. It is a course that rewards to highly skilled golfer while still providing an enjoyable test for the holiday golfer. GREEN FEE KEY: £1-£15=£ £16-£30 = ££ £31-£50 = £££ £50+ =££££ |
