Founded in 1891, Kilmacolm Golf Club is one of the more popular clubs on the outskirts of Glasgow.
It is situated on a plateau approximately 400 feet above sea level, so when it's windy you can expect to experience some pretty strong gusts, making for a challenging day.
Maximum use is made of natural hills and hollows, making this one of the most attractive moorland courses in central Scotland, which is no mean feat. To score well you will need to be reasonably straight from the tee and accurate with your approaches.
The 17th is a great penultimate hole, measuring just 137 yards from the back tees, giving you a good chance at a birdie two late on in the round.
