Esporta Dougalston officially opened the new layout of its 18-hole course a couple of years ago to great acclaim. Although the new holes took a few months to get up to speed with the remainder of the course, the finished article was well worth the weight. Four new holes have been constructed and the course is now a popular tract for visitors to the accompanying health club.

The first requires a tee shot over a large pond, although by all means get the driver out and lash one over the trees towards the green. Pull that shot off and you could get off to an eagle start. There are many great holes throughout your round, although the par three 18th, with water far right and bunkers on both sides of the green, provides a wonderful finish.
