Buchanan Castle Golf Club was established in 1936 and is owned by the Duke of Montrose. It is a lush parkland course with glorious views of the mountains and rivers that prides itself on being one of Scotland's hidden golfing splendours. It is nestled in the foothills of the Scottish Highlands, close to Loch Lomond and the picturesque village of Drymen – only half an hour from Glasgow or Stirling. It is a pristine 18-hole par-70 course that measures just over 6,100 yards. The James Braid design, including doglegs framed my tall trees, requires players to plot their way round carefully with consistent accuracy required off the tee.
