The golf course lies within the boundaries of original Kenmure Estate purchased by Charles Stirling in 1806. A significant element of "policy" woodland broad-leafed species oak, ash, beech etc established at that time still remains today.
The Bishopbriggs burn which meanders through the course all adds to an enjoyable and challenging golfing experience. The 16th is an excellent par four that requires a good drive to gain position for an exacting second shot. The drive, often shortened by a sloping fairway, can leave a difficult shot to a green across a burn that runs along the right side of the fairway. The golf course has went thro' signifcant changes over the last 2 years with 3 new holes built and a 6 mini hole and driving range now available GREEN FEE KEY: £1-£15=£ £16-£30 = ££ £31-£50 = £££ £50+ =££££ |
