Situated seven miles from the centre of Glasgow, Balmore is one of the most picturesque courses in the region, with uninterrupted views of the unspoiled surrounding countryside.

It is beautifully set with fir plantations, tree lined fairways and burns, which come into play on a number of holes. The 5, 542-yard course has a demanding par on 66 and features tough par fours, one of the most demanding par threes in Scottish golf, the 15th, and one of the most scenic, the 16th. The club has recently made huge investments in the latest equipment all of which keeps the course in the first class condition demanded by the members.
