This traditional Scottish club in the heart of Burns Country is situated just 12 miles from the Ayrshire Coast, where you will find some of the most iconic links in the world, including Royal Troon and Turnberry. Ballochmyle may not share the same esteem, but this inland 18-hole track is certainly worth a visit as a fine golfing test for players of all abilities. Should you stray from some of the fairways on this parkland layout, you can expect to find your ball in tree trouble. Two short par-4s also provide exciting scoring opportunities. But whatever you shoot on this affordable, well-maintained par 70 course, the Ballochmyle experience is bound to be rewarding.
