Carradale lies on the east coast of Kintyre in the historic county of Argyll and Bute.
It's a gem of a course and the views of the western profile of Arran unfold as soon as you step on the first tee, while The Carradale Bay and hills of Kintyre's central spine complete a breathtaking panorama from the ninth green.
The course is characterised by tiny, hard-to-hit greens and has been described as the most sporting nine-hole course in Scotland. No less than seven of the nine holes are between 200 and 330 yards in length.
The links setup is a perfect option for golfers, as it won't overwhelm high handicappers, but great players can still be punished.
